Sifu Sapir Tal
In 1988, Sifu Sapir moved to the United States, where he met the late Grandmaster Henry "Poo" Yee. Under Grandmaster Yee's guidance, he spent the next eight years training and deepening his understanding of the Southern Praying Mantis Kung Fu method. In 1997, Sifu Sapir founded the Israel Kung Fu Academy, training generations of students, martial arts teachers in various disciplines, and tactical instructors across Israel, the United States, Brazil, France, Belgium, Germany, Eastern Europe, and Japan. By the year 2000, Sapir was already a certified Sifu / "Inner The Gate" student. In 2017, Sifu Sapir became one of Grandmaster Yee's eight official disciples in the world.
Today, Sifu Sapir is an expert in guided Chi Kung, assisting with mobility and rehabilitation. He is also the CEO and inventor of Spikey™, a game-changing personal safety tool designed for women and law enforcement professionals. His work combines ancient martial knowledge with the realities of the 21st century, making advanced protection principles more accessible, practical, and effective for the modern world.
